Project Mind Map

This trimester I had the chance to participate in a green engineering project, we name it Eco car, talks about trading gas cars to byfuel or natural gas combustible. it reduces in a great amount the emission of CO2. I was the Leader investigator of the project. Iwas interested in this subject because here in Venezuela the conversion is for free.

This is the mind map of our Project. Eco Car. you can find it at

EcoCar

This is the name of our project. it's about moving green, using vehicles that are eviromental friendly, and the CO2 emissions are less than a regular vehicle. Bi-fuel vehicles are vehicles with multifuel engines capable of running on two fuels. On internal combustion engines one fuel is gasoline or diesel, and the other is an alternate fuel such as natural gas (CNG), LPG, or hydrogen. The two fuels are stored in separate tanks and the engine runs on one fuel at a time, unlike flexible-fuel vehicles ("dual-fuel"), that store the two different fuels mixed together in the same tank, and the resulting blend is burned in the combustion chamber. Bi-fuel vehicles have the capability to switch back and forth from gasoline or diesel to the other fuel, manually or automatically.
*Bi-fuel vehicles (subject, noun) are(verb) vehicles(noun) with(prep) multifuel(noun) engines(noun) capable(adjective) of(prep) running(noun) on(prep) two(noun) fuels(noun) PRESENT
*The(art def) two(noun) fuels(noun) are(verb) stored(noun) in(prep) separate(verb) tanks (noun) SIMPLE PRESENT
*Bi-fuel(noun) vehicles(noun) have(v) the(art def) capability(n) to(prep) switch(n) back(n) and(conj) forth(adverb) from(prep) gasoline(n) or(conj) diesel(n) to(prep) the(art def) other(adj) fuel(n) .PRESENT
The most common technology and alternate fuel available in the market for bi-fuel gasoline cars is natural gas (CNG), and it is used mainly in Europe, where Italy currently has the largest number of CNG vehicles. They are also used in South America, where these vehicles are mainly used as taxicabs in main cities of Brazil and Argentina. Normally, standard gasoline vehicles are retrofitted in specialized shops, which involve installing the gas cylinder in the trunk and the CNG injection system and electronics. According to Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition data, dedicated natural gas vehicles can reduce exhaust emissions from diesel engines by up to the following percentages: Carbon monoxide (CO) 70% Non-methane organic gas (NMOG) 87% Oxides of nitrogen (NOx) 87% Carbon dioxide (CO2) (below gasoline emissions) 20%
